Mirage IV

The Dassault Mirage IV was a nuclear-capable supersonic bomber and deep reconaissance aircraft.  
Initial design work began in 1956 and official approval came a year later.  First flight was in June of
1959 and the type entered service in October of 1964.  62 Mirage IV's were built between 1963 and
1968.  The bomber versions were retired in 1996 and the reconaissance variants were retired in 2005.
