The F-16 is in use by a large number of countries. In this picture (front to back) are
F-16's from Denmark, Norway, Portugal, two from the USA, and two from the
Netherlands.
This F-16C called Torrejon AB, Spain home. Torrejon was closed and F-16's were re-based at Aviano AB, Italy.
This photo and the next six below: F-16's from the 86th Fighter Wing based at Ramstein AB, Germany. The 86th transitioned to F-16's from F-4E
Phantoms in 1986. The F-16's stayed for ten years when the 86th was re-designated an airlift wing (AW) and C-130's came in. I was stationed at
Ramstein for nine years. I always loved the F-4's and F-16's and was saddened to see the fighters go only to be replaced by trash-haulers; Good Grief!
This F-16C was on display at the ceremony marking the end of F-16 use at Ramstein.
