Mil Mi-2 (Hoplite)
The Mi-2 was developed in the USSR to use the power of twin turbine engines
as opposed to the single piston engine of the Mi-1.  First flight was in 1962, but
the type was never put into production in the Soviet Union.  All Mi-2's were
made in Poland beginning in 1965.
The Mi-2 at Khodinka appears to have worn false American markings at one time.  Perhaps for
military training purposes or maybe it once starred in a Soviet movie as an American helicopter.
