Antonov An-10 was designed as a passenger-carrying version of the An-12 cargo aircraft. The aircraft
suffered from engine, structural, and stability problems and producion was stopped in 1960 after about 200
were built. Several aricraft (as well as many lives) were lost in accidents. After a major accident in 1972, the
An-10 was pulled from service and almost all of them were scrapped. Today, only a handful exist in museums.
