Yakovlev Yak-27 and Yak-28
The Yak-27/28 aircraft family were used for a number of roles. All were about the same size,
and featured swept wings twin engines attached to the wings.  The Yak-27's were primarily
reconnaissance airplanes, while there were interceptor, bomber, and training versions of the
Yak-28.  Two recon Yak-27's and one training Yak-28 were at Monino in the 1990's when I
visited.
